Icelands

The Icelands is a large, snowy biome that covers most of the west side of the map. Despite the frozen look it is one of the best places to farm Gold, and it holds plenty of the basic resources a new player needs, which makes it a popular early stop. It is also very open and flat, so you are easy to spot out here and it can be a dangerous place to linger.

Resources and wildlife

Most of the Grasslands basics appear here in snowy variants that behave the same way, alongside a few resources unique to the ice. Coal, Iron, and Gold Nodes are often frozen inside Ice Chunks, and the biome has its own creatures and two bosses.

• Trees and plants: Small Tree, Bush, Cloudberry Bush, and Big Bush, with snowy variants of many of them.

• Rocks and nodes: Small Rock, Coal Node, Iron Node, Gold Node, Ice Mound, Ice Chunk, and Iceberg.

• Shellies: Shelby, Sheldon, Shelbert, Big Stone Shelly, and Giant Shelly.

• Wildlife: Dave, Mammoth, Banto, Bantae, Lil' Banto, Frozen Barbarian, Frozen Peeper Popsicles, and Scavenger Ant Mound.

• Bosses: the Wealthy God and the Frozen Giant.

The two sides

Wealthy God side

One of the two mountains holds the Wealthy God, which drops a large amount of Raw Gold on top of its Essence. The named Shellies Shelby, Sheldon, and Shelbert spawn nearby, though they take a long time to respawn and are not always around. Players often call this half of the island the "Shelby side."

Giant side

The other end of the Icelands is home to the Frozen Giant and roaming Mammoths, which is why it is usually called the "Giant side." Between the Barbarians, Bantos, Mammoths, and the Giant, this side is one of the best places in the game to level up.
